The Future Is Bright

Why do people think they can talk on behalf of a generation they aren't even a part of? People are constantly throwing shade at millennials. How are they supposed to know the things we go through if they are from a completely different time? Maybe our struggles don't seem as bad to them if they're "merely" internal rather than external. A lot of us are trying to deal with the mental health issues that people before us kept throwing under the rug. And I am allowed to say that because we can see how far we've come. It seems like the future only gets better as it goes on because we can learn from our mistakes. Maybe we are making mistakes right at this moment, but it won't last till the future is here again. Nothing is solved if you don't take the time to figure things out and learn how to appropriately fix the problem. Contrary to what others believe, I don't think my generation is stupid. I think we are wise beyond our years. As time goes on, new generations will only be wiser.
