Today is World Suicide Prevention Day. Unfortunately suicide is something that takes away many people's lives every year. Suicide is often correlated with depression. Both depression and suicidal thoughts are things we should take very seriously. These are things that many people deal with, so trust you're not alone in how you may feel. Always talk to people. Trust me it's difficult to do. You may be embarrassed or uncomfortable, but I promise it helps. You're not a freak, you're not insane, you are human. You are someone who is dealing with our difficult world and no one can blame you for how you may feel. Talking to people and getting the help you need is super important. Suicide is harsh and permanent, while our struggles are merely temporary and can change in time. We must be patient and take the time needed to work on ourselves and the situations we may be in. And to people who may not deal with these struggles, please be kind, please be empathetic, please help someone and be there for them whenever you can.
