I have the innate desire to travel; some call it wanderlust. I've always loved the idea of traveling and I have traveled a lot within the US, but ever since I came back from St. Augustine I've had the desire to move away from home and live somewhere else. I really loved my experience living in St. Augustine, it was different yet slightly similar to home. I still lived right by the ocean and in a downtown area, but the environment was different. The trees were different, the buildings were different, the people were different. Ironically living up north was more "southern" than living in South Florida where I'm from. For some reason I feel like living somewhere new will make me more inspired by the things around me. I think that motivation can lead me to be more productive. I want to learn new things and find out more about myself with this experience. I want to grow without the pressure of the life I've lived so far. To only live for the present and have aspirations for the future. I've always been a dreamer and going somewhere new to explore would feel like I'm living in a dream. There's so many places I'd like to travel... In the US, I'd like to go to the states of California and Oregon as well as the cities of Minneapolis and Chicago. Outside the US, I'd really like to go to Japan, Ireland, Puerto Rico, England, Thailand, France, Spain, the Galápagos Islands, India, Bangladesh, Australia, and South Korea. Embracing different cultures is not only a fun experience, but it is essential in learning more about ourselves and our surroundings... it's all so important to me. Seeing new scenery, beautiful people and animals, and trying delicious food is all apart of the journey. In this post I just want to say follow your dreams. I know it's cliche but it can only lead you to happiness and fulfillment.
